In this activity we watched a video and predicted the rate the board went down a ramp, In all of my predictions I was close at certain points and very off at others. For the 21 inch ramp I predicted it would be a lot more steeper than it ended up being although I got two points almost dead on. For the 14 inch ramp I predicted it would be more gradual while it turned out to be much steeper in the beginning, for the decreasing of the graft I was just barely under it the whole time. For the final ramp, it was 7 inches and my predictions was nearly dead on. The 0s on my graph represented the start point from where the board took off. The 21 inch ramp having the highest maximum point/ going the furthest in feet and each ramp after that slowly loss feet. As well as the bigger the ramp the more the board came back after reaching its max. The 7 inch ramp did not return after hitting its max in feet.
In this activity I do not think the ball will go in, I got the ball to line up just at the bottom of the backboard. Also the lines did not go exactly through the center of the balls so I believe the ball would have been over shot and bounce off the backboard and miss the net.
In all the diagrams below they are showing the relationship between the flag height and time it takes the flag height to change. In Graph A it shows the flag being raised at a constant rate. In graph B it shows the flag increase fast at first and gradually slow down. In graph C it appears that it may be windy out because its all over the place with speed going back and forth. In graph D the flag goes up slowly and gradually gains more speed. In graph E it appears that the flag goes up slowly and then very suddenly and at the very top it slows back down. In graph F the speed of the flag is almost instant also being pretty unlikely. In my opinion the graph that represents it best is Graph A.It makes sense that the flag would go up at a constant rate. The least likely graph is graph F because it would seem impossible to have the flag shoot right up to the top.
